Annette Blair is thrilled to announce that during its first week of sales, My Favorite Witch hit #20 on the Nielsen Bookscan Romance Bestseller list and #19 on the Barnes & Noble Mass Market Romance Bestseller list. Reports are that it's hanging in there for week two as well.
Congratulations to Elizabeth Matis of Rock Hill, NY for winning the 2005 First Kiss Contest for Playing for Keeps. Annette Blair's novella You Can't Steal First part of Berkley's Hot Ticket Anthology, May 2006, will be released as a trade paperback for a special promo, and the print run will be enormous.
Annette's The Butterfly Garden is being released in a trade paperback version in June of 2006. The hardbound version of Scoundrel in Disguise, a Five Star Victorian, is being released in May 2006.
Sunny Chen is a brand new author who just sold in May after pitching at our April Conference. Three months later, she had 3 novellas and 2 novels sold, the latter in a two-book deal to Berkley. The first book for Berkley is an erotic paranormal, the first of a series, called Mona Lisa Awakening, and will be out Sept '06. Sunny also placed two novellas with Kensington. The Hard Stuff anthology, her first novella, will kick off the new Kensington Erotic line in January '06. Most recently, she just sold a novella to Berkley/Jove, and will be appearing in the anthology, Over the Moon, with Mary Janice Davidson and Angela Knight. It will be released next summer.
